JJ Redick Signs Three-Year Contract with Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic have signed veteran guard JJ Redick to a three-year, $19.69 million contract, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal reportedly includes a $500,000 signing bonus and guarantees Redick $19.69 million of his salary.
Redick, 37, is a 15-year NBA veteran who has played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, New Orleans Pelicans, Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, and New Orleans Pelicans. He is a career 44.6% shooter from the field and 41.5% from three-point range.
The Magic are hoping that Redick can provide a boost to their shooting and leadership. The team finished with a 22-60 record last season and missed the playoffs for the sixth consecutive year.
