Oilers star notches three-point night as Edmonton defeats Penguins

McDavid extends point streak to 11 games

Connor McDavid continued his incredible run of form on Monday night, recording a three-point night as the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-3. The Oilers captain now has 11 points in his last 11 games, and is showing no signs of slowing down.

McDavid's first point of the night came on the power play in the first period, when he set up Evan Bouchard for a goal. He then added two assists in the second period, setting up goals for Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman.

McDavid's performance was all the more impressive considering that he was playing against one of the best teams in the NHL. The Penguins are currently second in the Metropolitan Division, and they have one of the best defenses in the league. But McDavid was able to create chances all night long, and he was eventually rewarded with three points.

The Oilers will be back in action on Wednesday night when they host the Calgary Flames. McDavid will be looking to continue his point streak, and help the Oilers extend their winning streak to four games.
