2024 Championship Announced
Pinehurst Resort selected as the First Anchor Site of the USGA
On September 9, 2020, the USGA proudly announced Pinehurst Resort as the initial Anchor Site of the United States. Crowning the Resort's rich golf legacy, the 124th U.S. Open Championship will be staged from Monday, June 10, through Sunday, June 16, 2024, on the storied Course No. 2, with practice rounds beginning on June 10.
The U.S. Open, one of golf's four major championships, will return to Pinehurst for the fourth time, following memorable editions in 1999, 2005, and 2014. Pinehurst No. 2, a Donald Ross masterpiece, has consistently ranked among the top courses in the United States and is widely regarded as one of the fairest and most challenging tests in golf.
Tickets for the 2024 U.S. Open will go on sale to the public in 2023. For more information, visit the USGA website.
